reminder to also change your smoke detector batteries. Most detectors are very sensitive, operating on a 9-volt battery and if the battery drops charge even slightly it can cause the detector to go into alarm. Its Murphy’s Law that this will happen at 2 am in the morning and the tweeting is sure to be annoying. To avoid the battery going flat change the batteries every 12 months and a perfect time to remind us is as we change our clocks for daylight savings.
